Edible Himalayan Salt
Food-grade rock salt across four colour grades and eight size formats.
Himalayan salt is mined from the Khewra Salt Range in Punjab, Pakistan — the world's second-largest salt deposit, formed from the evaporation of an ancient inland sea over 250 million years ago. PMT's food-grade range is unrefined, non-iodised, and free from anti-caking agents, supplied in four natural colour grades (Dark Pink, Light Pink, White, Black) and a full size spectrum from sub-millimetre powder to multi-kilogram lumps.
Each batch is washed, dried at controlled humidity, mechanically graded, and packed under HACCP conditions at our Karachi facility. Trace mineral content varies naturally by mining seam; typical analysis is published below.

Dark Pink Food-Grade Salt
The deepest natural pink in our range, with the highest mineral content visible to the eye. Mined from seams richer in iron oxide.

Sub-millimetre grain. Ideal for retail tabletop shakers, pre-portioned sachets, and finishing salts.

Fine Cooking Grain
Fine kitchen-grade granulation. The standard format for everyday cooking, comparable to fine sea salt.

Coarse table grain for salt mills and finishing applications. Pours cleanly.

Crystalline rock grain suitable for koshering, brining, and rimming glasses.

White Food-Grade Salt
The purest natural grade in our range. Mined from seams with minimal iron-oxide colouration. A clean white-to-translucent crystal preferred for high-purity culinary applications and where colour neutrality matters.

Black Salt — Kala Namak
South Asian black salt — kiln-fired with traditional botanicals to develop its characteristic sulphurous aroma. Used across the subcontinent for chaat masala, raita, and savoury fruit preparations.
